Avocado
Avocado (Avocado, American Perseus, Alligator pear). For many, it’s not at all an exotic plant, but a very frequent guest of salads; this list was simply because I was the first to remember the letter “A”. Originally from Mexico, avocados are now grown in almost all countries with a suitable tropical and subtropical climate. There are more than 400 varieties that have their own characteristics, I think that even true avocado lovers will not be able to try it all.
The length of the avocado is up to 20 centimeters, the peel is inedible, the pulp is dense, yellow-green or greenish, with one large bone.
Ripe avocado is slightly buttery with a slight nutty flavor. Avocado is a favorite of nutritionists around the world because of its many beneficial properties. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, B vitamins, vitamin E, potassium, which is very useful for the prevention of many cardiovascular diseases and has a positive effect on skin health, and also helps to fight insomnia.
